About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Commercial Manager to lead cross-functional projects, sharpen our go-to-market operation, and help align Marketing, Business Development and Client Success as one team. Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll be responsible for streamlining our revenue operations and supporting our Commercial teams to work effectively; ultimately enabling us to optimise opportunities and maximise revenues.

To be successful as our Commercial Manager, you will need to build great relationships with colleagues and clients and therefore travel to our offices and client sites will be required.

What you’ll be getting up to

  • Commercial management and analysis
    • Support the running of quarterly review meetings between the Commercial and Executive teams. In particular, this role will report back to the business on reasons for losing pitches and provide competitor insights.
    • Contribute to the annual budgeting process, and any reforecasting processes throughout the year.
    • Support discussions around pricing for enterprise deals on a case-by-case basis.
    • Support the CCO with the administration and promotion of Vantify Rewards, ensuring the most efficient process possible while also ensuring all colleagues are contributing to our growth.
    • Evaluate and contribute to the implementation of new tools in the Vantify tech stack.
    • Support the development of partnership arrangements as necessary.
    • Support the CCO and Commercial leadership team on discrete projects as required.
  • Go To Market operations
    • Review and support the end-to-end go-to-market process, identifying friction points and leading improvements across Marketing, Business Development and Client Success.
    • Coordinate cross-functional launch plans for new products, ensuring messaging, timing, and client communications are aligned.
    • Own Vantify’s template proposal documents, ensuring they are compelling, accurate and drive conversions.
    • In collaboration with the product team, ensure Demo systems are compelling and drive conversions.
    • Own the Testimonial & Case Study tracker, ensuring an accurate source of client-approved testimonials are available for use by the Marketing and Business Development teams. Work with the Content Manager to sensibly prioritise the production of new testimonials and case studies which are aligned with the growth plan.
    • Chair monthly calls between Product, Business Development and Marketing to review recent and upcoming product upgrades and then work with the Marketing team to create release notes including compelling copy and visuals. To facilitate this, this role will be the owner of the Software Enhancements page on vantify.com – responsible for the content of that page but working widely to ensure high priority software enhancements are suitably communicated to our audience.
    • Support the Business Development team by considering valid requests for new collateral/Go To Market materials and then work across the business to support their creation.
    • Build and maintain a Tender Library on Vantify SharePoint, helping the business to more efficiently respond to tender opportunities.
    • On an ad-hoc basis, liaise directly with prospective or new clients to seek their reflections and insights on the sales and mobilisation processes, to identify areas of improvement.
  • CRM management
    • Chair recurring SteerCo meetings, ensuring that Group prioritises the most pressing tasks and that improvements to the CRM are well communicated to all stakeholders.
    • Work closely with the CRM Manager to simplify every area of Salesforce, helping to ensure high quality user adoption.
    • Own and standardise dashboards on a role-by-role basis.
  • Project delivery
    • This role is expected to spend around 40% of the available time either leading or supporting key commercial projects. As of September 2025, such projects include:
      • Upgrade of product messaging.
      • Review of product pricing and tiering.
      • Implementing ActiveCampaign, a marketing automation platform.
      • The successful launch of two critical products within the Vantify Ecosystem.
      • Creating a link between Salesforce and our invoicing system, to improve our insights and greatly improve the sales commission process.
      • Migrating client data into Salesforce, including renewal information.
